Hoping everyone had a great holiday and were fortunate enough to spend quality time with friends and family.
There are 35 days left in 2023 (5 weeks), plenty of time to build some momentum before the start of 2024. The question becomes, in which direction will the momentum be? I hope it is trending to the positive.
We have a great week lined up for our Penance Achieve classes – a Double Durability week and a handful of repeats & remixes as well as.
Monday
We will start the week with an Armor workout and dedicated strength session – both focused on building strength and endurance in our posterior chain (hamstrings, glutes, and low back) as well as our upper body pressing muscles.
Tuesday
On Tuesday we have our first Durability Day of the week – challenging the endurance and capacity of our upper body pulling musculature as well as our knee strength & health.
Wednesday
By midweek we are working on building our core strength & endurance as well as our hip & shoulder mobility with an Armor workout and dedicated Strength session.
Thursday
We will begin the 2nd half of the week with a retest on a pressing strength benchmark, then follow that up with a Power workout designed to challenge and building our upper body pressing musculature as well as the health & capacity of our lower backs.
Friday
By Friday we see our 2nd Durability Day of the week, this time emphasizing our strength & capacity of both our legs and our upper body pulling musculature.
Saturday
We will close out this week in the same manner that we began, focused on building strength and endurance in our posterior chain & upper body pressing musculature with an Armor workout and dedicated strength session.
If you have any questions on the structures or focuses listed here, or if you want to know why we train the way that we train… Just ask, we’re here to help! Until then remember – More is not better, better is better!
