New Year, New Challenges!

As we get ready to begin the new year with our soon to be expanded facility, I would like to issue a few challenges to our members (well, anyone really) for the month of January: 

  1. Come to the Box (gym) at least 3 days every week and track your workouts! Our SugarWOD system makes it easy to see when/if you’ve been in the gym and what kind of progress you are making, use it!
  2. 100% Paleo for the whole month! this one will be harder than number 1, but it will pay off greatly! If you are trying to lose fat then focus on meats and veggies… if not then throw in some carbs as well (sweet potatoes, pumpkin, fruits, etc.).
  3. Kettlebell Swings! Goal is 3 days each week… If you are looking to burn off body fat- pick a moderate weight, set a timer for 10 minutes, and get as many swings in that time as you can! Keep count and every time you do your swings try to beat your previous score! If you are looking to build strength- pick a heavy weight (or 2) and do 3-5 sets of 8-10 swings, focus on snapping your hips, squeezing your cheeks, and bracing your abs!
