–ame : Adrian Morris
–ge : 42
-Hometown : Lived in this area my whole life…currently in Arlington
–areer : I have done a little bit of everything. Currently, I sell health insurance and supplemental insurance products. I am also always looking for fun creative projects to do on the side, so if you want an original poem or piece of abstract art, we should talk.
-What surprising item is on your bucket list? I really want to write some books. I have an English degree which is technically entitled “Bachelor of Arts in English with a Concentration in Creative Writing and an Emphasis on Poetry”…so, yea, I’ve got a degree in poetry.
So I’d like to put out a compilation of poems. And, I’ve written the first six chapters of one book. And I have a couple of more just kicking around in my head. One of these days I need to just sit down and get them typed out.
I wrote & produced a short film with a friend once, and I’d like to do a project like that again one day as well.
-What are your most and least favorite Fitness movements? Least Favorite – Running, Sprinting, Walking Overly Fast…you catch my drift. Oh, and Burpees.
Most Favorite – Back Squats, Front Squats, Deadlifts, Atlas Stones, basically anything heavy. And I LOVE the Assault Bike!
-How has Fitness impacted your life outside of the gym? I’ve made a whole new set of friends to hang out with that are totally awesome!!!
-What is your favorite restaurant? Oh there’s so many!!! Top 5 that I’d love to go to on any given day: Memphis Mojo Cafe, Lost Pizza Company, Red Koi, Bedrock Sweets & Eats, and Trolley Stop Market.
-What’s your favorite blog? Truthfully, I don’t really read any blogs, but I do write one, so I’m gonna have to go with onefatguysjourney.blogspot.com. That also means I will have to start writing again because I’ve been slacking a bit in the blogging department lately.
–If your life were turned into a movie, who would you want to play you? No question…Ryan Reynolds. And if he is unavailable, early 90s Christian Slater.
-What are your plans for the future? I plan to workout, write, paint, bike, and play. I want to continue volunteering with the middle school, high school, and college kids at my church. I’m a simple guy. I don’t make big plans. I just want to hang out with the people I like and love and have a blast. Life is about relationships and community. I don’t care if I ever work again if I can get away without it and continue to live and love life. I’m definitely not the “go back to work after winning the lottery” type of guy!
